Research Notes

Research rarely happens in a straight line.
Most ideas begin as questions, sketches, paper highlights, or small experiments before they become something more complete. This space exists to capture that process.
Here I'll write about concepts I'm trying to understand, papers I'm reading, problems I'm exploring, and ideas that may eventually grow into larger research projects. Some notes will be technical, others more conceptual, and many will simply document my reasoning as it evolves.
My interests revolve around software systems, distributed computing, reliability, autonomy, and their application to complex engineering problems. As my research develops, so will the subjects covered here.
Rather than presenting finished conclusions, these notes are meant to record the path toward them.
One core question, with smaller ideas orbiting around it — that is roughly what this notebook looks like.
